The pieces in this series came about because of a challenge from a friend.  We produced 100 squares of fibre art in 100 days.  I must admit it took me more than 100 days to produce the work in this series.  The large piece which is 36"X36" has 100 fabric pieces which were created on vintage linen that is more than 100 years old.  The back grounds were painted in a variety of different techniques.  The pieces were then embroidered and embellished.  The finished pieces were then mounted on canvas.  The smaller pieces are 12"X12" and the single pieces are 4"X4".
